Gribanov, Boris

  Gribanov, Boris Timofeevich (b.1920), literary critic, writer, translator, Cand. Sc. (History). Graduate of Moscow University and the Higher Diplomatic School of the Foreign Ministry Gribanov first worked at the Soviet Information Bureau and at the Radio Committee, then he lectured at the Institute of Printing, headed the section of foreign children’s literature at Detgiz, and later held the post of Deputy Director of Khudozhestvennaya Literature Publishers where he was also responsible for the “World Literature” series.
